How often you hear guests saying that the Arrival Experience at your resort is “Stunning” and “Out of this World” following a successful Cloud transition project? Few months back, when we decided at Orascom Hotels Management to transition to Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud in record time, we also took a bold decision to redesign the business processes with an objective to elevate the guest experience and improve the efficiency across the organisation. With the new aspiration in mind and a mandate to not do a “like to like” traditional cloud transition, we conducted a comprehensive Design workshop with a multi-disciplinary team and successfully transformed many business processes with following incomparable values at our pilot property Casa Cook: · A new Arrival Experience which is described as “Stunning” and “Out of this World” by our guests. We introduced “Experience Ambassadors” who gets assigned to a guest for the entire stay. The role like “Front Desk Agent” and the traditional “Reception Desk” gets fully removed and the guest is greeted by their name throughout the arrival experience by the Experience Ambassador and taken straight to their suite and the check-in formalities are completed seamlessly in less than a minute using a mobile device. · A Departure Experience which is curated by the same Experience Ambassador to make the guest feel that everything is well prepared for their departure. The personalised gift and anxiety-free check-out straight to the Transport etc. are some of the unique last minute experiences, why the guest leave a feedback that they had an amazing experience at the resort. · An Operational Efficiency never seen before which resulted in creatively destroying 30 business processes across different business units. Up to 99% time saving in some of the re-engineered processes and significant saving in the total duration of time to complete a process allow our colleagues to focus more on our valued guest. Congratulations to all our colleagues at Orascom Hotels Management for such a great achievement. Any such transformation cannot take place in vacuum and hence special thanks to all our partners for their continuous support. Thanks to the power of co-creation, Orascom Hotels Management has not only transformed the arrival and departure experiences into something truly unforgettable but has also set a new benchmark for operational efficiency.
