Jerry Seinfeld laid into an anti-Israel heckler during a standup show in Australia on Sunday night.

Seinfeld was interrupted while performing at the Qudos Bank Arena when someone shouted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” Video of the exchange was posted to social media by the Australian Jewish Association.

“We have a genius, ladies and gentlemen. He solved the Middle East!” Seinfeld responded to the heckler.

He then mocked the heckler for targeting a Jewish comedian over the Israel-Hamas war.

“It’s the Jewish comedians, that’s who we have to get! They’re the ones doing everything,” the comedian joked.

The heckler continued shouting while Seinfeld talked.

“Go ahead, keep going! They’re going to start punching you in about three seconds so I would try to get all of your genius out so we can all learn from you,” Seinfeld told the man. “It’s a comedy show, you moron! Get out of here.”

Seinfeld continued roasting the heckler as he was escorted out of the venue.

“You’re really influencing everyone here,” he said. “We’re all on your side now, because you’ve made your point so well, and in the right venue, you’ve come to the right place for a political conversation.”

Seinfeld previously faced protesters against Israel’s Gaza strikes when he gave the commencement speech at Duke University last month. Dozens walked out of Seinfeld’s talk as part of a demonstration. He was also previously heckled by anti-Israel protesters who branded him a “genocide supporter.”

“It’s so dumb,” Seinfeld told Bari Weiss in an interview. “In fact, when we get protesters occasionally, I love to say to the audience, ‘You know, I love that these young people, they’re trying to get engaged with politics…we just have to correct their aim a little bit.”
