Signs two-way deal
Freeman, who spent five years at Akron, was the 50th overall pick in the 2024 Draft. It's not too surprising that he was signed to a two-way contract. He'll spend the majority of the season in the G League getting developmental minutes.

Inks deal with Indy
Swider was impressive with the Heat's Summer League team this offseason, during which he averaged 13.5 points while shooting 49.1 percent from beyond the arc. The 25-year-old will now have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp with the Pacers, and he averaged 2.3 points across 4.8 minutes in 18 regular-season games with the Heat last season.

Efficient off bench
Nembhard totaled just seven points over his first two appearances in the Paris Olympics, but he had an incredibly efficient showing off the bench Friday. Although he'll likely continue to come off the bench during the knockout round, he showcased his potential during Friday's narrow win.
