‘Feels-like' temperatures approached 100 Wednesday

NBCUniversal Media, LLC

Wednesday was another sweltering day where the "feels-like" temperature approached 100 degrees.

A heat advisory remains in effect for most of the state until 8 p.m. Actual temperatures climbed through the upper 80s and into the 90s.

There is a slight chance of isolated storms on Wednesday evening. There has been some severe weather in Upstate and Western New York Wednesday afternoon. Those storms are expected to stay north and west of Connecticut, but a stray pop-up storm is not out of the question in the western part of the state.

It's possible we could also hit 90 degrees on Thursday. It will be less humid.

More scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday. Highs will be in the upper 80s.
