Spain full-back Jesus Navas has announced he will retire from international football following Sunday’s European Championship final against England and he will end his playing career entirely at the end of the year.
The 38-year-old was part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012, and he has made three appearances at this summer’s tournament, becoming the oldest player to represent Spain at a major tournament.
