Jemele Hill Claims There Are No Pro-Democrat News Outlets And That Will Cost Biden The Election

According to Jemele Hill, Democrats have a disadvantage in terms of the media in America. She says the press will be to blame if Donald Trump wins the election in November.

This is not satire or even sarcasm.

"Biden’s issue isn’t that he can’t convey his accomplishments," Hill posted on X on Saturday.

"There are just so many conservative echo chambers (ex: Fox News, Newsmax, OAN) that run Republican/Trump messaging 24 hours a day. There is no Democratic Party equivalent of that (and no it is [not] MSNBC).

"And as far as VP Harris goes, she would have the same issue as Biden. They have one of the most accomplished administrations in history, but again you wouldn’t know that by media coverage."

Admittedly, we don't know where to begin. Nearly every statement Hill posted is inaccurate.

"What MAJOR news outlet is the left’s version of Fox?" she asks.

Per AllSides, which measures media bias, there are eight major news outlets as, if not more, "Left," than Fox News is "Right." They are the New York Times, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, the Washington Post, CNN, and USA Today.

So while Fox News (which, in disclosure, shares common ownership with OutKick) is the most influential brand in media, the sheer quantity of overtly left-leaning outlets allows Democrats to maintain a stark advantage in messaging through the media.

Hill continued her rant by posting and denying that CNN and MSNBC are pro-DNC operations.

"MSNBC hired an election denier," Hill responded. "Both networks have made a ton of moves to try to appeal to more conservatives and right wing viewpoints."

Again, Hill has her facts wrong.

CNN tried to cater toward the center when hiring CEO Chris Licht in 2023. However, the talents rebelled. The network fired Licht less than a year later and installed former New York Times editor Mark Thompson.

Thompson operates like a less charismatic Jeff Zucker, leaning on hyper-partisans Jim Acosta, Dana Bash, Laura Coates and even Brian Stelter.

MSNBC hired an election denier, proving it's not a left-wing cable network.

Incorrect.

Hill is referring to former Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. But MSNBC did not hire McDaniel. NBC News did. MSNBC President Rashida Jones even informed employees that McDaniel would never appear on MSNBC when she signed with its parent company.

NBC also terminated McDaniel's contract before officially appearing as an NBC contributor due to backlash from left-wing employees. Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Jen Psaki, Chuck Todd and Joe Scarborough used their platforms to call McDaniel a liar unworthy of a platform, despite each having a documented history of lying on behalf of the Democrat Party – especially former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

Since Hill wants to compare, there was no such uproar within Fox News when the network hired former Chair of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile, Democratic congressman Harold Ford Jr. or Democrat strategist Jessica Tarlov.

Hill’s tirade also failed to include the impact of Big Tech, the most powerful ally of Democrats.

Google and Facebook, the two most powerful tech companies in America, are far more influential than any media outlet and firmly in the back pocket of the DNC.

Last November, the House Judiciary Committee filed a 103-page staff interim report with details documenting the extent to which government agencies pressured Facebook to dictate the information posted on social media prior to the 2020 presidential election. The efforts disproportionately resulted in the de-platforming of information unfavorable to Democrats.

"This pressure was largely directed in a way that benefited one side of the political aisle: true information posted by Republicans and conservatives was labeled as 'misinformation' while false information posted by Democrats and liberals was largely unreported and untouched by the censors," the report explained.

"The pseudoscience of disinformation is now – and has always been – nothing more than a political ruse most frequently targeted at communities and individuals holding views contrary to the prevailing narratives."

Government agencies don't have to pressure Google to manipulate information in favor of the DNC. The search engine, which accounts for 93% of searches in America, does so anyway.

A database leak in May confirmed Google manually dictates which websites rank the highest on topics such as the election and Covid. An AllSides analyst study found that 63% of articles that appear on Google News are from "left-leaning outlets," compared to just 6% from "right-leaning sources."

Perhaps that concept is a bit over Hill's head. After all, Kendrick Lamar has yet to explain as much in his black nationalist rap beats.

Moreover, Dr. Robert Epstein testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee that "biased search results generated by Google’s search algorithm" shifted "at least 2.6 million votes to Hillary Clinton" in 2016 and "at least six million votes in favor"of Biden in 2020.

Over/under on vote shifted for Democrats by Google 2024: 7.5 million.

No matter the candidate, Democrats can rest assured Google is still on their side.

Ultimately, the media will not be to blame if Joe Biden loses in November. Joe Biden will be to blame. Biden is on a short list of the worst presidents in U.S. history, perhaps trailing only James Buchanan.

His border policy is an actual crisis, providing thugs readily available access to America illegally. The current administration has done nothing to remedy the border, despite the growing list of illegals raping and murdering women in the United States.

(Yes, Joe, the illegals – not "spouses, in-laws, brothers, and sisters" – are raping American women.)

The economy is worse than it was pre-Covid under Trump. Biden's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and extensive funding for Ukraine are some of the most shameful political decisions of this generation.

And, yet, for three and half years the media-controlled propaganda machine has downplayed Biden's destruction of America.

It wasn't until last week that media members turned on the president, following a debate performance in which he frequently appeared lost and needing to be found. But members of the press didn't turn on him as a show of disloyalty to the DNC. They turned on him because they no longer believe he can beat Donald Trump.

The New York Times editorial board explained in its op-ed calling for Biden to resign that they did so out of fear Trump will win the presidency if he didn't.

"If the race comes down to a choice between Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden, the sitting president would be this board’s unequivocal pick. That is how much of a danger Mr. Trump poses. But given that very danger, the stakes for the country and the uneven abilities of Mr. Biden, the United States needs a stronger opponent to the presumptive Republican nominee," wrote the Times editors.

Likewise, Joy Reid uploaded the following cry for help on TikTok over the weekend:

"Just let me know when you guys are finished figuring it out, Democrats. Then let me know who I got to vote for to keep Hitler out of the White House … If it’s Biden in a coma, I’m going to vote for Biden in a coma. I don’t even really, in particular, like the guy. A lot of his policies? Don’t like them, [but] he’s not Donald Trump." Reid exclaimed.

"Yeah, Hitler, White House, we’re keeping him out."

The balding lady above is not enough of an anti-Trump zealot/DNC loyalist for Jemele’s liking.

The fact that someone argued the media favors Trump in 2024 shows how far Hill, a once accomplished columnist, has fallen. She really should have stuck to sports. The whole female Al Sharpton schtick has proven her painfully dense and uninformed.

Now, if only Hollywood and the Ivy League could get behind the Democrat Party …
