Spanish Model Jessica Goicoechea Teams Up With Playboy, Recruits Fellow Soccer WAG To Model Swimwear Collab

Spanish model Jessica Goicoechea is back, and after she proved that nobody lives a better life than professional soccer players, she added an exclamation point to that statement with her latest news.

The girlfriend of Marc Bartra, who admitted she has a hard time keeping her hands off of the Real Betis defender, has her own swimwear line that just landed a limited edition collaboration with Playboy.

That means a Playboy bunny on some of her ethically produced GOI swimwear and beachwear.  It also means a big announcement on social media and a couple of Playboy cover shoots to properly mark the occasion.

The swimwear line announced along with one of the covers, "It’s finally here.  Our very first collab PLAYBOY x GOI i is now available on goi.com."

The announcement continued, "A limited edition collection made in Spain featuring 14 iconic sets that are waiting to be a part of your Summer wardrobe."

Jessica Goicoechea And Cindy Kimberly Landed Playboy Covers For The Swimwear Collab

Throwing together a photo shoot complete with throwback-style covers is going to catch some eyeballs of those mindlessly scrolling through Instagram.

Recruiting a fellow model and WAG with more than 7 million followers of her own is also a solid marketing strategy.  One that Goicoechea executed perfectly here.

She sought out the services of Cindy Kimberly, girlfriend of Premier League club Everton midfielder Dele Alli.  For her troubles, she landed on one of the covers along with the GIO founder.

That's the kind of teamwork you like to see.  Two elite level talents who can come together for a limited swimwear line announcement and share the spotlight.

This is how you set an example for the entire soccer world and, more important than that, it's how you move units.  Playboy isn't what it used to be, but it's still a brand that people recognize.

This is a solid play all around.  GOI gets some publicity and Playboy tosses its logo up on some swimwear that will be in front of the very large world of soccer.
