VIDEO: San Francisco Nudists Save Tourist From Blowtorch-Wielding Pirate

Some heroes wear capes and some, as you're about to learn, wear a dress or absolutely nothing at all.

In a day and age when most people sit back and watch as terrible things unfold in front of them, a couple of nudists and a guy wearing a dress took action earlier this month.

A man described as a pirate was threatening a Brazilian tourist with a blowtorch on a sidewalk in San Francisco when a couple of naked guys out on a stroll happened to walk by.  Your typical July day in the California city.

The two men, identified by The San Francisco Standard, as Pete Sferra and Lloyd Fishback, decided to give the tourist a hand.  They received an assist from a brave man wearing a dress who snuck up behind the pirate and swiped his blowtorch.

In the upside-down world that is San Fran, he could probably be charged with a crime for taking the actual criminal's weapon.  As could the naked man who stepped in and swung at the weaponless pirate after the pirate started punching the tourist.

Blowtorch Or Not, You Better Think Twice Before Attacking Tourists Around Nudists In San Francisco

"My buddy Lloyd is a quiet, respectful guy," Sferra said of his naked friend's heroics.  "But he didn’t waste any time and nailed the guy with a right hook."

The right hook was followed by a slap to the face from the naked hero, which caused the pirate to rethink things and walk away.  Here you are a blowtorch wielding pirate trying to harass a tourist, and you've had your blowtorch taken and been knocked to the ground by a naked guy.

Walking away was the only real option here for our pirate villain.  There were several witnesses, some of whom had dialed 911 during the craziness.  Credit to him, he knew when to take the L.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the suspect was identified as 38-year-old Zero Triball and, in a bit of a shocking twist, he wasn't immediately released after they caught up with him.  He’s suspected of assault with a deadly weapon and, as of a couple of days ago, remained in the county jail.
