“Memories of the Future” project is dedicated to the utopian character of atomic city Slavutych.

Combining the nostalgic form, watercolor sketches representing images of the future we create the symbolic paradigm of potential development of the city together with the artists from Slavutych.
The sketchbook made by a traveler in 2066 after his journey to Slavutych appears in the city in 2016 like a part of art exhibition in the local museum. The project has an intention to go beyond the time boundaries, and take a look at the future through the lens of the traveler.
In collaboration of Krolikowski Art duo and the local artists has been discovered different locations in the city that have to be changed because they arise sensation of something abandoned or temporary.
After that during the discussion we defined what could be done at these places, and the team tried to imagine these changes and depict them in the form of sketches.
Locations were marked by a number and hashtag #slavutychtomorrow.
Sketches from the future are posted in the local museum.
The virtual part of the project is presented in this blog.

“Спогади про Майбутнє” - проект, присвячений утопічності м. Славутич. Поєднуючи ностальгічну форму - акварельні скетчі, - з образами майбутнього - ми створили символічну парадигму потенціального розвитку міста разом з митцями м.Славутич.
Скетчбук, що був зроблений мандрівником в 2066 році після його поїздки в Славутич, з'являється в 2016 році в якості частини художньої виставки в місцевому музеї. Проект має намір вийти за межі часу, і зазирнути в майбутнє крізь лінзу мандрівника.
В колаборації дуету Krolikowski Art з місцевими художниками було обрано 6 локацій, які мають бути змінені (тому що викликають відчуття закинутості або тимчасовості). Після цього відбулася дискусія, на якій було визначено, яким чином зміняться ці локації, і команда разом спробувала уявити образи майбутнього та реалізувати їх в скетчах.
Локації були промарковані номером і хештегом #slavutychtomorrow. Скетчі з майбутнього розміщені в музеї міста. Віртуальна частина проекту представлена в цьому блозi.
