With her retro look and decidedly un-TMZ lifestyle, the 22-year-old singer is a Goody Two-Shoes compared to some of her famous peers. "I want to be a mom someday, which governs my decisions," Taylor explains. "I ask myself, What will my kids think when they read about what I did at this age?" They might assume she was living on Red Bull: Taylor has a new album, Red, and a second fragrance, Wonderstruck Enchanted; and she spends her off-time (ha!) as a CoverGirl spokesperson. And she manages to look crazy-cute--here's how.
You're the master of winged eyeliner. What's your secret?
I do the outer corner flick first: I follow the curve of my lower lash line and draw it on as if it's an extension of that. Then I draw along my top lid and connect it to the flick.
What are your other essentials?
Natural brown eyeshadows, a lash curler, and Kate Somerville moisturizer--it perks up my skin.
How do you care for your famous curls?
I don't use a blow-dryer or styling products. If I let my hair air-dry, I swear it doesn't get frizzy.
Red lips are your signature. Any tricks to them?
I swipe on my lipstick, place a tissue between my lips, and blot. Then, if I really need the color to last, I hold the tissue against my mouth and brush translucent powder over it, which sets the color.
What do you put on when you're not wearing red lipstick?
I'm always wearing red lipstick!
