It can be interesting to learn which celebrities are related to each other and some pairings can be quite surprising. Recently, Eva Longoria revealed that she is actually cousins with Meryl Streep. Both of the stars appear in the upcoming fourth season of Only Murders in the Building and Longoria admitted that they called each other “cousin” on set and whenever they are around each other.

She explained, “Meryl and I are cousins. We both did the Dr. Gates DNA show and Meryl and I shared a relative. Years later, I saw her at an event and my friend’s like, ‘Go tell her you’re cousins.’ I’m like, ‘No, I’m not telling Meryl Streep we’re cousins.’ Then I hear, ‘Cousin!’ and I turned around and it’s Meryl.”

She continued, “To do ‘Murders in the Building’ together was really, really fun, and to call each other ‘cousin,’ adding, “We’ll say, ‘How are you, cousin?’ and ‘I’m good, cousin.’”

Longoria added that when they started talking about being cousins on the set of the Hulu series, many of the cast members including Selena Gomez were confused, especially because they look nothing alike.
