working hard and good food
I was born and raised in Luling, Texas, where we take two things very seriously: good BBQ and watermelon. I spent my summers working with the watermelon farmers, where I learned the value of working hard. I also worked alongside my grandfather at his restaurant, Chisolm Trail BBQ, where I learned the passion that goes into creating truly good food.

STOP and enjoy some incredible food. My wife and I stopped here after shopping at the outlets nearby. excellent service and amazing food! we had the baked potato, which was LOADED with their brisket. We also had a brisket taco and a hatch sausage taco. All the food was extremely tasty and not hard on the wallet.

INCREDIBLE BBQ!! Had the brisket, sausage, mashed potatoes and coleslaw and my wife had the same meat, green beans and cabbage. We both agreed it was some of the best bbq we've ever had!
