Kim Kardashian Allegedly Wants to Get Back Together With This Ex for a Strategic Reason

So, this has layers, it seems. Insiders claim Kim Kardashian wants to reignite her past fling with Odell Beckham Jr. partly because she reportedly wants to try again and mostly to outshine her rival Taylor Swift.

Insiders recently told Life and Style Magazine that Kardashian allegedly sees reconciliation as an “opportunity.”

“She sees an opportunity. Specifically, Kim wants the over-the-top fame that dating an NFL player has brought Taylor Swift,” they said, referring to the ongoing feud between Kardashian and Swift. “It’d be a win-win for Kim. She gets him back and takes some of that thunder away from Taylor.”

Okay, so let’s break it down: this insider is claiming Kardashian wants some of that headline-making romance Swift is in with her beloved boyfriend, NFL player, Travis Kelce. This seems to indicate that their feud is far from over.

So, this feud started back in 2016, when Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West came out with a song called “Famous,” which had the line “Might have sex with Taylor Swift / Why? I made that b***h famous.” West claimed Swift gave him permission (and Kardashian released a video of her agreeing to it), but Swift says otherwise. She claimed that the video Kardashian took was “manipulated” and “illegally recorded.”

Kardashian gave her final statement on the feud in 2020, but in 2024, when Swift released the song “thanK you aIMee,” on her album The Tortured Poets Department. This song took numerous stabs at Kardashian, even mentioning her children.

“Kim was shocked. The fact that Taylor thought it was OK to involve her child … It was a total low blow,” the insider said to Life and Style. “The power of Taylor’s fan base is so immense. Her calling Kim a bully and whipping her fans into a frenzy is not something she can dismiss.”

Now, for those who need a recap on Beckham Jr: we got you. For those who don’t know, Kardashian and Beckham, who was previously linked to her sister Khloe Kardashian, were seen together numerous times over the past few months in early 2024, with reports coming in that they’ve been casually seeing each other since 2023.

But as of March 2024, they ended things, reportedly Beckham ending things after Kim allegedly wanted to have a baby with him.

(Now, in late June 2024, Kardashian was reportedly crushing hard on 21-year-old Jude Bellingham, but he’s in a happy relationship, so that’s a no-go! So maybe, she’s back to crushing on Beckham?)
