While many know and love her as the stylish songstress who releases hit after hit, others remember the allegations that claimed she’s quite a rude customer. Amid her reported split from Ben Affleck, she’s allegedly turning a new leaf with the latter: by being a super-sweet customer.
In a story posted by Page Six, it’s reported that during her stay in the Hamptons on the Fourth of July weekend, Lopez tipped very well.

When she stopped at the East Hampton A La Mode ice cream shop, she allegedly tipped quite a nice sum for ice cream. “She got a mini cone with sprinkles and was very friendly to everyone,” a source said to the outlet, also claiming she left a $50 tip!
To say this is a total 180 would be an understatement. Over the years, there have been a lot of stories about Lopez’s rude behavior in restaurants would be an understatement. When the trend on TikTok went around, where servers and hostesses talked about which celebs were kind or not, Lopez was mentioned in the unkind section so many times.
Remember when a server called out Lopez for allegedly removing some of people’s tips if she thought Ben Affleck tipped “too much?” YourTango resurfaced it, and it caused so much controversy.
Many people have even confessed to Buzzfeed how serving her isn’t so great. One confession read, “I had a friend who waited on Jennifer Lopez right after she got super famous. She and her entourage ran my friend ragged, insulted him, held up the table for more than three hours, and completely stiffed him on the tip.”
