Despite having two huge A-list parents like Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, their kids keep a very low profile from the public eye — especially their son Connor Cruise. While their daughter Isabella Jane gives fans an update here and there, Connor keeps most of his life off social media. However, his newest Instagram post not only shows what he’s been up to, but how much he’s taken on after his Oscar-nominated dad!
On April 29, Connor shared a seriously rare snapshot of himself to his Instagram, which he shared with the simple caption reading, “🏌️♂️⛳️.”
In the photo, we see him and a friend in matching striped shirts and cargo shorts on a golf course, with Connor giving the thumbs-up sign.
To say this photo is a rarity would be an understatement. Not only is this Connor’s first Instagram post of 2023, but it’s a first glimpse into his hobby of golfing: a hobby he shares with his father! On multiple occasions, Tom has swapped filming for golfing and has taken his private helicopter to get to a golf course, per Mirror.

Throughout the years, there have been bumps in the road in their relationship, but it seems as though the father-son pair are extremely close (somewhat thanks to their love of Scientology) and have been seen out and about together in recent years, per People.
As for Connor’s relationship with Kidman, there have been a lot of conflicting reports. Many claimed they had an estranged relationship, but a previous interview with Woman’s Day Australia per Us Weekly, Connor said: “I love my mum. I don’t care what people say, I know that me and Mum are solid.”
