It starts out as one thing, then becomes something else and then BAM that ending! Violent, but satisfying and dare I say justifiable. Totally worth watching for the ending alone.
You're gonna wanna watch this one till the end. It's pretty messed up.
Not perfect, but better than many of the recent films in the newly added section. As many other reviews say, pretty brutal ending that might come out of left field for you. If you're not into the kind of horror that feels like a meaningless tragedy in the end you'll probably want to avoid this one but it's well written otherwise (so long as you don't know anything about hunting rifles or can suspend your disbelief for the sake of watching a film) Spoiler warning: The dog doesn't make it, and beyond that, he's not the only one either. Usually that'd annoy me because it's often used for the sake of pointless shock when they do that sort of thing in horror. It's not entirely pointless here, but it'll still hurt. Leaves you wishing for a different ending for the entire main cast. Can't bring myself to give it a full five skulls because of that, but the rest of the film makes up for it enough.
