In 1983, Days of Our Lives’s Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) shared their first kiss. The milestone moment took place during a Fourth of July fundraiser organized by Eugene Bradford. Hope was manning the kissing booth, and Bo purchased two dozen tickets. Initially, he gave Hope a peck on the forehead and teased that she couldn't handle his kiss; she then kissed him on the lips.

In 1997, when One Life To Live's Todd visited Blair at the hospital in Philadelphia where she was recovering from injuries she'd sustained in a serious car wreck, she gave him the chance to come clean about who really killed Guy Armitage (Todd was the culprit, having blown up Guy's yacht, but he had framed Patrick Thornhart — who he had despised ever since he caught Patrick and Blair making love while Blair believed Todd was dead — for the crime). When he insisted that Patrick was guilty, she told Todd she wanted a divorce.
