Become a part of Tasty’s team of content innovators! Tasty’s Talent Residency is a program for aspiring on-camera personalities, TikTok/Reel-ers and YouTubers with a passion for viral storytelling and content creation.
Through this program, residents will have the opportunity to reach new audiences and help contribute to the future of Tasty’s voice and perspective alongside an incredible group of content creators. You will have an opportunity to create an editorial and branded relationship with the biggest food brand on the internet. Residents will work alongside and learn from existing Tasty producers and talent to become the next faces and voices of the internet.
Tasty residents should be talented home chefs with a passion for food, food culture and food media (culinary background a plus, but not required). We are looking for food bloggers, Tiktok Creators, and foodies curious about how to grow their digital presence and persona.
Residents will be natives of the digital and culinary landscape with intimate knowledge of the latest and greatest in social media/emerging technology platforms and established presences on TikTok and Instagram. They should show a passion for experimentation in the short-form food space, with an established history of format testing and viral successes. They should be platform-adaptive and have a firm POV on the type of content they are making.
As a BuzzFeed/Tasty Resident, you’ll work with innovators in the talent space and forge your own relationships with TikTok, Reels, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook audiences! Residents work part-time with the Tasty ream to publish a new video every week for our channels.

Jeri
Jeri, known as @whisperofyum, has garnered recognition for her soul-soothing content and delectable comfort foods showcased on her social channels. With a background in nutrition science, Jeri views food as both a science and an art. Drawing inspiration from her African-American/Filipino heritage, she crafts mouthwatering recipes that perfectly align with the calming ambiance she creates.
Gideon
From culinary student to line cook and now a celebrated recipe developer and Tasty chef, Gideon, known as @gidsgids, has become an internet sensation captivating the hearts of over 1.5 million followers across his social platforms. His remarkable culinary creations have taken the digital world by storm. However, his true passion lies in infusing his Filipino culture into his recipes.
Sarah
Sarah Banh, also known as @groovyfoodiess, is a Vietnamese-American home cook based in Texas. Sarah is well-known for her approachable recipes and recipes from her culture, but with a modern flare, or Món Ăn Mỗi. Her content has allowed her to connect with other first generation Asian-Americans and immigrant youth that have not been taught traditional recipes by their families.
Brittany
With a background in acting and writing, Brittany, known as @itsbrittwilliams seamlessly merges her love for the creative arts with her culinary passion. Crafting vibrant and easy recipes using colorful ingredients, Britt is recognized for her family-friendly recipes, kids' meal ideas, and food art. Raised in a Sicilian-American household, she honed her culinary skills cooking alongside her nana, discovering the joy of turning every meal into a special occasion.
Brandon
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Brandon, known as @brandongouveia, discovered his passion for cooking at a very young age. He gained experience preparing savory Caribbean dishes and credits his West Indian/Guyanese roots for his ability to merge a variety of bold flavors. In 2016, Brandon graduated from the International Culinary Center in New York City. Brandon's fusion recipes and vibrant content is approachable, and will keep you coming back for more!
Ronica
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ronica, known as @mymanabites, is an experienced cook, food content creator, and entrepreneur dedicated to promoting healthy cooking and empowering others through the culinary arts. Ronica first fell in love with cooking and diverse flavors at age 11. With her family history spanning three continents—South Asia, the South Pacific, and North America—she has been fortunate enough to spend over 30 years learning the art of spicing up dishes and falling in love with global flavors.
