Alexa Demie's latest fashionable moment is a high-fashion take on a nostalgic trend. Partaking in some Paris Fashion Week fun, the Euphoria star was spotted at Balenciaga's Fall/Winter 2022 ready-to-wear presentation in an all-black outfit with a huge noughties nod.

Fans of ‘00s fashion may recall that skirts over pants were one of the looks of the decade and Alexa’s PFW look harked back to those days. Alexa paired her oversized, off-the-shoulder black shirt from Balenciaga with what looked to be a skirt over pants to the show. Both the loose cargo-style pants and the short skirt portions were made of the same material — likely leather or pleather. Spotted outside the show venue, you could see the unmistakable Balenciaga logo stamp on Alexa's pants went she lifted her arms to greet the public.

Alexa's choice of black pointy heels and a small black bag were the perfect coordinating accessories, and she added to the drama with a chunky gold necklace and matching earrings. Her newly chopped hair was styled with micro bangs and for her makeup, she wore an eye look made of purple and blue hues and the vampiest of vampy lips.

Balenciaga's presentation was a star-studded affair, with Kim Kardashian also in attendance. However, the fashion house did take a moment to acknowledge the current situation in Ukraine. Creative director Demna Gvasalia started the show with a Ukrainian poem recitation and in accompanying show notes, Demna revealed the presentation was dedicated to the “fearlessness” of the Ukrainian people.

"The war in Ukraine has triggered the pain of a past trauma I have carried in me since 1993, when the same thing happened to my home country and I became a forever refugee," Demna wrote in a note handed out to show attendees, CNN notes.

In an official Twitter post from Balenciaga, it was announced that they intended to donate a monetary sum to the UN World Food Programme. “We stand for peace and donate to WFP to support first humanitarian help for Ukrainian refugees. We open our platforms in the next days to report and relay the information around the situation in Ukraine,” the tweet read.
