Did somebody say Inside Out 2 trailer? Yes, folks! Finally, the first official trailer for Pixar's long-anticipated Inside Out 2 movie is here, and plenty of new familiar faces (or should we say voices?) are joining the cast.

Ever since Disney Pixar unveiled a teaser for the movie, a sequel to 2015's Inside Out, back in November 2023, fans have been eagerly trying to decipher which new emotions will be added to Riley's headquarters, and now we finally have the answer. Please meet Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment — though, if you've already passed puberty, you're probably more than familiar with them.

The first new emotion we meet in the trailer is Anxiety, voiced by none other than Stranger Things star Maya Hawke. “Anxiety might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,” the film's director, Kelsey Mann, teased about the little orange creature, who arrives at headquarters with a whole lot of baggage. After Anxiety, we meet Envy, voiced by Golden Globe-winner and Ireland's finest Ayo Edebiri, who sports a little bob and turquoise fur.

In all-lavender, we find Ennui — a.k.a. boredom — who, very fittingly, is voiced by French actress Adèle Exarchopoulos, whom you might recognize from a little movie called Blue Is The Warmest Colour. (Nothing major, you know, just one of the most popular lesbian movies of the 2010s.) Last but not least, we meet Embarrassment, voiced by prolific comedian and Emmy-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser, who towers over everyone in pink while hiding behind a cozy zip-up hoodie.

You might be wondering: “OK, but when will Inside Out 2 premiere?” And the answer is June 14, 2024 — so mark your calendars accordingly. According to Pixar, Inside Out 2 is poised to be “the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024” so you don't want to miss it.

Alongside the new teenage emotions voiced by Hawke, Edebiri, Exarchopoulos, and Hauser, Inside Out 2 will also reunite audiences with Riley's core five, almost a decade later. Amy Poehler is reprising her role and Riley's number one and life-of-the-party Joy, as are Phyllis Smith as Sadness and Lewis Black as Anger. Fear and Disgust, previously voiced by Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling, will be brought to life by Tony Hale and Liza Lapira, respectively.
