The latest riff on Gotham’s most enigmatic billionaire crime fighter, The Batman, has already been delayed from its initial June 2021 release date, and now it seems the Robert Pattinson-led film might get pushed even further: According to reports, the London set for the film has been shut down after Robert reportedly tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

A new Vanity Fair dispatch quotes “highly placed sources” that Robert tested positive for the virus, which was later confirmed by Deadline. A prior statement from Warner Bros., the studio helming the movie, stated that, “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.” Neither Warner Bros., nor Robert’s representatives responded to requests for comment from Deadline and Vanity Fair.

Filming on the dark superhero reboot, which also stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman and Paul Dano as the Riddler, had just resumed three days prior, according to reports. Director Matt Reeves previously gushed about Robert’s interpretation of the Caped Crusader, saying, “He has the soul of someone...that can play a Batman like you’ve never seen before.”

Robert had previously observed some hardcore self-isolation, telling GQ in May that even going for a run in the park in London put him on edge. “I’m so terrified of being, like, arrested,” he said at the time. “You’re allowed to run around here. But the terror I feel from it is quite extreme.” And while he says being a megawatt star in some ways “forced” him to spend time alone, quarantine also put into stark relief just how much he had acclimated to the process. “I just realize, everyone is so, so vulnerable to isolation. It’s quite shocking,” he noted at the time. If he is indeed in quarantine again, here’s hoping he gets better soon.
