Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! We’ll be sharing our picks of what to watch for the week, from new specials to big guest spots, and big episodes of TV to look forward to.

This week’s picks include an IFC premiere, a One Chicago Crossover, and Showtime’s talk show debut.

Here are a few recommendations for what to watch on TV this week:

2019 Rescue Dog Show – Sunday, February 17

The second annual Rescue Dog Show kicks off its two-night event on Sunday, February 17 at 8/7c on Hallmark and features a variety of adorable categories and rescue pups that have been adopted by loving families. How could you turn down watching something like this?

Episode Description: The American Rescue Dog Show invites you to help save lives through adoption of shelter pets. This competition includes mixed breed and pure breed rescue dogs competing in a variety of cute categories, all with the goal of ending pet homelessness.

Black Monday – Sunday, February 17

Mo is in damage control mode after finding out that Blair broke up with Tiff, determined to find a way to get them back together and save the Georgina deal they’ve been working. Black Monday airs Sunday, February 17 at 10/9c on Showtime.

Episode Description: In an effort, the Georgina play afloat, Mo and Dawn try to reunite Blair and Tiff; Mo finds that his debts have come back to haunt him

Documentary Now! – Wednesday, February 20

IFC is bringing back its fake documentary series and kicking it off this week with a story about a cult that feels like a bit of a nod to a big documentary we’ve seen this year. Hosted by Helen Mirren, Documentary Now! Season 3 debuts Wednesday, February 20 at 11/10c on IFC.

Episode Description: When a self-appointed spiritual guru begins a commune in rural Oregon with the help of his overly devoted assistant, an exasperated FBI agent dedicates himself to exposing the man behind the mantras and putting a stop to his commute.

There can only be one Highlander and apparently only one head of the club on next week’s The Goldbergs as Adam finds himself competing for the spot, while Barry is determined to stay close to his high school friends. The Goldbergs airs Wednesday, February 20 at 8/7c on ABC.

Episode Description: Despite Beverly wanting the two boys to bond, Adam and Johnny Atkins compete for the head of the Highlander Club at school. Meanwhile, Barry tries to keep him and JTP from the same fate of Murray falling out of touch with his high school friends.

Part 1 of this two-show Chicago crossover kicks off on Chicago Fire after a series of robberies comes to the Firehouse, looping CPD’s detectives in on the situation. Chicago Fire airs Wednesday, February 20 at 9/8c on NBC.

Episode Description: In the first part of a crossover with Chicago P.D., a spate of robberies comes to light after a firehouse lockbox key goes missing. CPD’s Voight has suspicions that a firefighter may be involved, and with Boden’s support, he recruits Cruz to go undercover and help sniff out any suspicious activity.

Closing out the two-part crossover, the detectives are closing in on the crew responsible for the robberies. However, things get complicated when a murdered firefighter is discovered to have been possibly involved. Chicago PD airs Wednesday, February 20 at 10/9c on NBC.

Episode Description: Second part of a crossover with “Chicago Fire”: Using information from Chicago Fire’s Cruz, Intelligence chases down the robbery crew that’s been using the lockbox key. Voight (Jason Beghe) is under pressure to bring the crew to justice without tarnishing the reputation of a murdered firefighter who might have been involved.

Desus & Mero Premiere – Thursday, February 21

From podcasts to a late night talk show, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero are kicking off their Showtime talk show with a big guest, as they welcome Bronx native, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Desus & Mero debuts Thursday, February 21 at 11/10c on Showtime.

Episode Description: In the premiere episode, the duo will also visit the Congresswoman’s new offices in D.C. determined to make her feel at home, as well as give their take on the day’s hot topics in their signature style in front of a small live studio audience.

The Other Two – Thursday, February 21

The recently renewed The Other Two continues its funny story of tween sensation Chase and his siblings Brooke and Cary, as the latest publicity stunt involves a high school dance with a fan and Brooke and Cary tagging along. The Other Two airs Thursday, February 21 at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Central.

Episode Description: When Chase attends a high school dance with a young fan, Brooke and Cary accompany him and try to have the experiences they never had as teenagers.
