Aaron Parsley is a senior editor for Texas Monthly covering arts, entertainment, and culture. Before joining the magazine in 2024, he worked at various news sites, including People, where he wrote, reported, and edited stories about pop culture, politics, crime, and other subjects. He grew up in Austin, spent sixteen years in New York City, and returned to his hometown in 2019.
