Artists and athletes from Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio share the passion behind their pursuits from the driver’s seat in our latest video series, Vision in Motion, in partnership with Cadillac.

From concessions to corporate partnerships with Cadillac, tournament director Jon Drago oversees every detail that goes into making the CJ Cup Byron Nelson the PGA event of the season. To Drago, golf is more than a game, it is “the great connector of people” and his way to give back. For over 20 years he has been doing just that in part with the Momentous Institute bringing awareness to mental health and raising money for children and families of their community.

Nearly 50 years later, the legacy of Byron Nelson continues as tens of thousands of fans and spectators gather on the green to witness excellence from both the athletes and supporting brands like Cadillac. Making his rounds in the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, Drago maintains his singular focus of the tournament being a vehicle for doing good.

Aiming to be the best, Drago and Cadillac bring their A game to Dallas for the final installment of Vision In Motion. Watch the video for a look behind the scenes.

“If you’re satisfied with mediocre, you’ll never get to this level.”

Seeking a creative space in the all-electric Cadillac LYRIQ, musician Mia Carruthers follows her muse into downtown Houston. For Carruthers, music is an avenue of storytelling and discovering something greater, whether that’s fine-tuning tracks to perfection in the studio or letting the performance flow on stage.

Close attention to the quality of every element is an approach both Carruthers and Cadillac take when it comes to performance, creating harmony with the AKG Studio 19-Speaker Audio System and Ambient Lighting. With the right tool, tones and textures can craft an immersive experience.

From early family collaborations to keyboards and vocals on tour with The Bright Light Social Hour, music has long been a cornerstone in Carruther’s life. The passion continues offstage for Mia serving as an associate creative for an audio branding and marketing agency. Watch the video to hear her muse come to life.

“A song for me is a feeling that starts inside. It’s something that grabs your attention.”
