A WHEEL of Fortune contestant's blunder has left fans cringing and wondering: "Can that really happen?"

Mom-of-three Shauna faced pastor Steve and mom-of-two Melissa on Wednesday's episode when it all spun south.

Wheel of Fortune took a puzzling turn of events for Shauna, who shared she proudly embraces her "extra" personality.

She found herself with an entirely solved puzzle under the category “Same Name.”

The phrase: “Gongenial company & clever conversation” glowed on the board, practically begging to be read correctly.

Pat Sajak, 77, urged: “Shauna, would you read what’s up there!?”

However, the excitement quickly fizzled as Shauna, unfortunately, said: “Conjugal company & clever conversation.”

A collective gasp swept through the crowd as Pat bluntly uttered: “No.”

The torch was passed to the next player, Steve, who later won the game and correctly read the puzzle.

Pat, in an apologetic tone, noted: “Yeah, we needed - kind of a coined word there you had. I’m sorry.”

'NO WAY'

The fail of epic puzzle proportions sent fans into a social media meltdown.

One X user wrote, sharing the clip: "No way this lady lost Wheel of Fortune with the entire puzzle solved," with a fleet of crying emojis.

"That can happen!?" another fan replied.

A third defended: "When someone mispronounces a word it may be because they learned it from reading instead of hearing it said."

A fourth wrote: "I can’t even bring myself to watch it with the audio. The secondhand embarrassment might kill me."

A fifth wrote: "LMAOOOO! Damn! Shauna can't even read or get the puzzle right when ALL THE BLANKS ARE FILLED IN WITH ALL THE LETTERS! DAMN!."

A sixth penned: "Conjunal'?  Maybe she had conjugal visits on the mind???"

An additional fan posted: "My Mom was like "Did she say Congenial wrong?" Lol"

Another user said: "I would’ve cried."

A completed puzzle fail has happened before; infamously, a poor student missaid "Achilles" losing a finished puzzle in 2014.

WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE

Incorrect answers on the long-running game show never cease to amaze fans- in fact, they seemingly never cease.

Recently, a contestant named Gishma went viral for her miss under the category "Show Biz."

The puzzle read: “TH_’ _RITI_S’ ‘_GR_E,’ prompting Gishma to venture into the realm of fantasy with her response: “The British Ogre.”

"Uh, no," Pat ruled, and a rival swooped in with the correct answer: "The Critics Agree."

One internet user wrote: "She wouldn’t even look at the camera for a sec. I feel bad, but man, that sh** was funny.”

Another drummed up an idea: “The British Ogre sounds like a cool band name. #WheelofFortune.”

In the fall, NFL star Rashad Jennings went viral for thinking director Quentin Tarantino was "Puentin" Tarantino.

And last season, a contestant mistook "Lox" for "Bagels with Low and cream cheese" (just the "X" was missing).

Pat is retiring at the end of the now-airing season in June 2024 to make way for Ryan Seacrest, who will begin hosting next fall.
