However, the court is reconsidering her sentencing after a three-judge panel of the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the convictions on Friday, June 21.

Julie was initially held responsible for the fraud scheme beginning in 2006.

The judge has since ruled that Julie was not at fault for the entire conspiracy as there was no evidence showing she was involved before 2007.

Julie's case will now revert back to a lower court for resentencing.

"We're pleased that the Court agreed that Julie's sentence was improper, but we’re obviously disappointed that it rejected Todd’s appeal," Julie and Todd's attorney told People about the court's decision.

"With this step behind us, we can now challenge the couple's convictions based on the illegal search that started the case," the lawyer added.

Following the ruling, the couple's daughter Savannah, 26, shared an Instagram post, noting the family's "little win" and that her mother could be released from prison as early as 2026.

A federal grand jury indicted Todd and Julie in August 2019 for 12 counts of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy.

They and their accountant were accused of evading nearly $2 million in state taxes and hiding more than $1 million of their reality TV income.

The pair have maintained their innocence throughout the case but were eventually found guilty on all counts.

They began their prison sentences in January 2023.

Although Julie might be getting out earlier than her originally scheduled July 2028 release date, Todd won't be released until September 2032.

Julie is serving her time at a facility in Lexington, Kentucky, while Todd is at the minimum security Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida.

Their daughter, Savannah, became the guardian of then 16-year-old son, Grayson, while the Hollywood couple were locked up.

A few days before, Grayson was involved in a serious car accident in Nashville, Tennessee, adding to the Chrisley's hardships.
