FINDING FREE MONEY

Morgan began by sharing how to go about sourcing opportunities for free money.

She first suggested watching your local new program to stay informed about upcoming guaranteed income programs.

Such programs are intended to help low-income individuals with their basic needs by offering them regular cash payments.

The expert also advised those seeking free money to look towards fundraising platforms and nonprofits.

"These entities can provide you with guidance and resources on how
to access financial assistance, education, and training programs," she explained.

"By attending free seminars or reaching out to people in your network, you may connect with someone who can inform you of
programs before they are published, or who wants to help you achieve your financial goals."

You never know who could offer you assistance, as was the case when Morgan went to the farmers market in an Army hoodie.

A woman approached her about the hoodie and ended up offering her an opportunity for free money.

"It turned out that she had a program that teaches veterans
how to farm and grow their own vegetables with a grant, and she needed participants.

"The participants get paid a weekly stipend, and the lady also gets a stipend for teaching people how to farm."

Additionally, Morgan suggested researching rental assistance programs.

She explained that these programs are intended to benefit those struggling to pay rent or utilities by helping to cover housing costs and evade eviction.

In the year 2024, the opportunities are endless. It's all about reinventing yourself and finding programs that you are interested in.

Those in need of assistance can also consider calling 211, a free hotline offering information and referral services for key resources.

Morgan listed several of the resources, including free shelter, food banks, healthcare, and others.

ALTERNATIVE SOURCES OF INCOME

"There are numerous alternative income streams and opportunities that individuals can explore to achieve financial stability," shared Morgan.

The financial expert provided several examples, including starting a side business, performing freelance work, renting out a room on Airbnb, or even starting a YouTube channel.

"By exploring these options, you can diversify your income and create a more secure financial future," she shared.

Morgan noted that one of the best ways to do so is by attending school for a trade or in-demand field.

"Community college is essentially free for seniors and first-time college students, and corporations are now offering bonuses and paying for education to attract workers," she said.

"In the year 2024, the opportunities are endless. It's all about reinventing yourself and finding programs that you are interested in."

There is also an alternative source of income that senior citizens can explore.

Morgan listed the Foster Grandparents program as an example, which pays a stipend and provides benefits such as meals and transportation to those who volunteer.

"And the best part? The stipend doesn't count against your benefits!" said Morgan.
