Zac plays the narcissistic movie star boss of Nicole's daughter, played by actress Joey King, 24.

At one point, Zac is seen ripping off Nicole's shirt as the two are rolling around on the couch.

Zac and Nicole previously starred together in The Paperboy in 2012, along with The Butler, set to release next year.

The new film, from the producers of Anyone but You, also stars YouTuber Liza Koshy and Academy Award-winning actress Kathy Bates.

The plotline follows Joey's character, Zara, as she finds out her mom is having an affair with her boss following the death of her dad.

“I am starting to feel things that I never thought I would feel again, not since your father died,” Nicole's character, Brooke, tells her daughter in the trailer.

While Zara highly disapproves of the situation, she attempts to navigate the growing relationship between her mom and boss.

Liza, who plays Zara's friend, Eugenie, is shown at the very beginning of the trailer as the two discuss the "madness" of the affair.

Kathy, 75, plays Brooke's mother Leila, who seemingly approves of her daughter bringing the movie star hunk over for the holidays.

A Family Affair will be available for streaming on June 28.

CAST THOUGHTS

While speaking about the upcoming film, Zac recently opened up about his experience reuniting with Nicole after the pair had previously worked together.

"I was still a bit apprehensive but reuniting with Nicole is always so great and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring, and wonderful to spend time with," the Iron Claw star told People.

Zac also promised that his and Nicole's chemistry in A Family Affair would be "seamless, natural, and fun."

The film's director, Richard LaGravenese, labeled the spark between the actors as "an answered prayer — something you hope for but can't plan."

"The interplay between Joey and Zac's characters as an assistant and star is so much fun," he explained.

"I also love the mother-daughter role reversal where the daughter becomes the disapproving, judgmental, suspicious parent and the mother is sneaking around her back having a love affair that makes her feel like she’s come back to life."

Joey also weighed in about her role in the film, noting how "iconic" it was to be able to work with Nicole.
