Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart star Mamie Laverock ‘underwent multiple surgeries’ after tragic fall and ‘is doing well’
The actress suffered another health scare just weeks earlier
WHEN Calls the Heart star Mamie Laverock has reportedly been recovering after sustaining serious injuries from a nasty fall she took earlier this month.
The Hallmark actress's family shared an update on Mamie's condition on a GoFundMe campaign created by her parents.

In the post, Rob and Nicole Compton informed their daughter's followers that Mamie, 19, was "out of her big surgeries" and that doctors assured she was "doing well."
"It’s impossible for us to be happier," they added and thanked everyone for their support.
Mamie was hospitalized on May 11 due to an undisclosed medical emergency.
She was "showing signs of improvement," as per her GoFundMe campaign, though was expected to stay in the hospital for "upwards of a month."

However, Mamie experienced another scary incident on Sunday when she tumbled from a five-story balcony.
Her family said it happened when she was being escorted out of a secure unit in the hospital.
The TV star suffered severe injuries, resulting in her undergoing "multiple extensive surgeries" and was placed on life support.
"We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time," Rob and Nicole previously shared about their daughter's accident.

Mamie's WCTH co-stars also expressed their feelings about the devastating news on social media.
Erin Krakow shared a screenshot of the GoFundMe page on her Instagram and encouraged others to donate.
"I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio," the actress wrote in her post.
Johannah Newmarch, who plays Mamie's on-screen mother, also shared her support on X, formerly Twitter.
"I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie. Please help if you can. They need all the support they can get to make it through this," she wrote and shared a link to the campaign.
Additionally, Loretta Walsh urged her followers to help her co-star.

According to her IMDB profile, Mamie has appeared in nine episodes of the popular Hallmark series from 2014 to 2023, with a recurring role of nursing student Rosaleen Sullivan.
As reported by People, the star earned the Young Artists Award for Best Performance in a TV Series in 2015 for her portrayal.
Fans might also be familiar with Mamie's work in two episodes of Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events in 2019 and Psych in 2014.
