Plus, what led to the former child stars' longstanding beef

ACTOR Scott Schwartz detailed an incident in which his longtime nemesis, Corey Feldman, got him kicked out of an event in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun.

Scott, 56 - best known for his films as a child star in the 1980s, such as A Christmas Story and The Toy - spoke to The U.S. Sun about the encounter, claiming that Corey, 52, "feared for his safety" in the presence of his former friend.

On Sunday, Scott ranted in a Facebook post about an alleged incident that happened the day before at a fan expo in Burbank, California, where Corey was booked to sign autographs, and Scott was an attendee.

He noted in his post that Corey allegedly ordered one of the event promoters to escort him out of the building because he was "uncomfortable" being around him, to which he obliged.

Scott explained the situation to The U.S. Sun, insisting that the move was sudden and that he had not interacted with The Goonies star before he was asked to leave.

"He was there signing autographs. And I was just a patron. I came to give stuff away to people that are my friends…So I walked by him several times because, think of a walkway, he was on the right of the walkway. On the left, it was Carrie Green, Lee Majors, Lindsay Wagner, and Kate Jackson; that's the only way to get to them. That's how you gotta go. You got to walk that way," the California native said about the run-in.

"I went by several times. One time, I actually looked at him. Somebody kind of bumped into me, and as they bumped, my eyesight went up. And there he's sitting right there. Well, what can I do? I didn't say anything. I didn't make a motion toward him," Scott claimed.

He added that Corey's bodyguard was by The Lost Boys star's side and didn't approach him or signal that he should leave.

GETTING THE BOOT

"One of the promoters eventually says, 'We got a problem.' I said, 'What's up?' [He said,] 'Feldman is uncomfortable that you're here. He fears for his safety. And you ruined his life. So he wants you escorted out of the building,'" Scott recalled.

The Kidco star was not pleased by Corey's response to him being at the event, telling The U.S. Sun, "He's Corey Feldman, an egomaniac. He's the guy. He just wanted, you know, if you'll excuse my French, he just wanted to be a d**k."

Despite being enraged over the request, Scott said he kept the peace and quietly left the building, as it was nearing the end of the event anyway.

"I said, 'Listen. I'll go out the other way. You don't have to see me. I'll go back to the vendors' room where he's not and whatever,'" Scott remembered of his initial response.

"And the guy's like, 'Listen, he said if you're not escorted out of the building, he's going to leave, and we prepaid him for a certain amount of autographs. So we'll lose money if he leaves for any reason,'" the Raiders of the Living Dead star explained.

"Okay, these are guys that I've known for years. So what do you do? You know, you're not gonna piss off people that you've known for decades, and you're friends with. You know, I don't want them to lose money from this putz," Scott reasoned.

Scott then claimed Corey hadn't reached out to him, nor had they had any communication following the mishap; however, a promoter from the event contacted him.

"One of the promoters that I'm friends with, I'm close with, you know, of the three guys he called me up. He's like, 'Dude, I'm sorry. We had to do that. We had no choice.' I said, 'I understand. I get it.' You know? There's no grudges there's no, I disliked that. None of that. I get it. You know when you could lose five figures. You don't want to do that.

Scott continued, "But, you know, then, is [Corey] going to reach out to me? Not a chance in hell, as they say, which is a saying I'm sure you've heard, he does not have the balls God gave him."

The movie star later admitted that he knew Corey would be at the event, given his name was on the lineup, though it's assumed the Stand By Me star wasn't aware that Scott would be attending.

The U.S. Sun reached out to Corey's reps for a comment but has not heard back.

The U.S. Sun also contacted the event promoters, who confirmed that Scott "needed to leave" the venue early and claimed that Corey was in "good spirits and did really well with his fans."

HOW THE FEUD BEGAN

Scott and Corey's beef goes way back, as the pair used to be friends when they were young actors in Hollywood.

However, things took a turn, Scott claimed, when their close pal, Corey Haim, died of pneumonia in March 2010 after years of drug abuse.

Scott revealed that he disagreed with Corey's lifestyle and the things he allegedly said about Haim following his death, which created tension and drove them further apart.

The former child star claimed the last time he saw Corey was in 2020 at actor Keith Coogan's birthday party, where they allegedly got into an altercation that was broken up by Corey's bodyguard.
