STARZ has revealed Power Book IV: Force will end after the third season.
It's the latest drama to get cut after Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch revealed plans to develop more new shows instead of continuing the more expensive existing shows.
Power Book IV: Force showrunner and executive producer Gary Lennon said he has created a "fulfilling" ending for Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) and his gang.
“It is bittersweet to write the fulfilling ending of this chapter in Tommy’s journey, a character myself and fans have grown to love over the past decade,” Gary told Deadline.
“Season 3 will question everything we thought we knew of Tommy’s world and I promise you it will not disappoint!"
"Although this may be the end of the road for Force, there is much more expansive, compelling storytelling for the characters within the Power Universe," he added.

The third season of the series is currently in production in Chicago and filming is expected to wrap in July.
Joseph said the upcoming season will be the "final chapter in Tommy's journey in Chicago," in a message to fans from the set on Instagram on Thursday.
“When Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, we saw that we were telling a complete story," he said.
"This was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s journey in Chicago.

"But don’t worry, Tommy’s journey is far from over with. We’re just getting warmed up, and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next.
"So tune in, because ghosts never die, and Power never ends.”
"He said final chapter in Chicago," one fan commented.
"Sounds like he’s going somewhere else. Possibly the West Coast which was the original plan."
"Don’t play with us, Joseph!! We tired of y'all canceling shows left & right lol," another added.
"Force is done? But a new spinoff?" a third guessed.

The network is developing the prequel series Origin, based around the Ghost (Omari Hardwick in the original Power series) and Tommy during their early years.
The new show will be similar to Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which follows Power’s rival, Kanan Stark (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson), in his younger years.
