BEVERLY Hills Cop: Axel F star Chantal Nchako has opened up about working with Eddie Murphy on the sequel.
The rising actress exclusively told The U.S. Sun that she was advised not to talk to the Oscar nominee at first, but then said they bonded over their heritage.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is Chantal's first major movie role and to work with A-lister Eddie, 65, was an honor for her.
The fourth installment in the franchise drops on Netflix on July 3.
Chantal plays Officer Moore, who is a "thorn in Axel Foley's side."
Axel tries to get away from the bad guys, but Officer Moore stops him and won't let him pass.

"I'm giving him a hard time, and it's a very funny scene. I mean, it's hilarious," Chantal told The U.S. Sun.
And while she said that it was wonderful working with Eddie and that he was "amazing," she was advised by workers on set not to approach him.
'DON'T TALK TO HIM!'
She exclusively told The U.S. Sun, "I get to fitting, which was wonderful, but they're like, 'don't talk to him,'" she said.
"'You know, just do your work. He doesn't talk to people.'"

"So everybody is giving you advice on how to be, but you're the only person that's going to be on set. You do want to take the advice because you don't know, you're like, 'Okay, maybe that's how I should be because, you know, this is my first studio film.'"
The fitting took place a few days before she was scheduled to film her scene.
'JUST US TWO'
Chantal took a chance and talked to Eddie when they filmed.
It was just him and her in the scene, so she was able to form a bond with him.

"There's no other distractions. It's just us two and the director," Chantal said.
"I see him walking towards me and he's super calm. And he's actually kind of shy and reserved."
Chantal said she spoke with Eddie before starting the scene and told him that it was an honor to work with him.
"It's just us two and I was like, 'I don't want to be awkward.' I'm trying to not talk, but I'm just like 'I'm going to say something'," the actress shared.
"So, I just started talking to him."
BONDING WITH EDDIE
Chantal told Eddie she is from Cameroon and when he did the film Trading Places, he mentioned that he was an exchange student from there.
"You really put us on the map. Thank you for always giving a homage to Africa," she told Eddie.
He also honed into his African heritage in the film, Coming To America.
She continued, "And he looks up at me and just smiles.
"After that, we just started riffing. I was calling him Mr. Murphy. He was like 'Please don't call me Mr. Murphy. It makes me feel old,'" Chantal laughed.
Chantal said that Eddie then gave her tips on what to do.
"My reaction was like, he is so kind. And I'm so happy that I went in and was myself. I will never forget that," she said.
A SPECIAL MOMENTO
Something else that Chantal will never forget is that in between shots, Eddie asked the professional photographer on set to take a picture of them.
"He didn't do that for anybody else. And he said, 'Make sure this gets printed and she gets this tonight'," Chantal shared.
The actress said that after the picture, others on set asked about their conversation.
She fluffed her hair and joked, "You know that's between me and Mr. Murphy."
Chantal only worked with Eddie on set but was looking forward to meeting everyone at the premiere, which happened on June 21.
