The news of his firing was released on April 30.
Rob's last post on Instagram was just a few days before on April 26.
The post was of him reporting storm damage on World News Tonight with David Muir, which is also an ABC show.

FLAUNTING IT
While Rob is remaining silent, his ex, Eryn, is posting her new life all over social media.
On Thursday, Ern shared a photo of her new man on her Instagram Story.
She smiled for the camera as a guy wearing a baseball cap kissed her on the cheek.
Good Morning America anchors
Good Morning America airs on ABC from 7-9am EST, Monday through Friday. The show has a panel of anchors who discuss the week's events and current news. The anchors who appear on the morning show include:
"Birthday trip has officially started," Eryn captioned the post.
They were sitting on a plane in matching white shirts.
Eryn flaunted her new man more in a post on her feed.
She, Mike, and her kids with Rob - Madelynn, 12, and Mason, six - all went to Legoland in New York on July 3.
The group enjoyed rides and activities at the theme park.
Mason even sat on Mike's shoulders in one photo.
He also rode on a paddle boat with Mike.
Rob and Eryn were married from 2010 to 2023.
ROB'S DEPARTURE
Rob's firing from ABC was reported by The New York Post.
His exit reportedly had to do with “anger management issues,” according to their sources.
The departure comes after multiple staffers had made complaints about his behavior over the years.
Last March, Rob was temporarily banned from the GMA set in New York City over "making a female colleague uncomfortable."
He had made all of his appearances on the daytime show via video from different locations.
