During last night's eliminations, three islanders were eliminated from the reality show.

Kordell, also known as Odell Beckham Jr's little brother, wiped away Serena's tears as the contestants said bye to Liv Walker.

While the elimination gutted many fans, Love Island viewers laughed at how he consoled Serena.

During a panout of Serena crying, Kordell patted down her tears using his middle finger.

Fans discussed the humorous moment on X as they saw his gesture as unintentionally insulting Serena and viewers alike.

"He flipped us off in the process but it's the thought that counts!" said a fan.

"The middle finger is taking me out," said another.

"How did I miss this? Why the middle finger?" asked a third.

While many laughed at his moment, others commended him for not trying to mess up Serena's makeup.

"He noticed the way she wipes her tears to not ruin the make up that's so cute," wrote one X user.

"The way he didn’t wanna ruin her makeup >>> a real man!" said another.

His gesture won back the hearts of many angry fans after he brought back Daia McGhee from Casa Amor, creating tension between Kordell and Serena.

Following Kordell's decision, the two argued over the fact that Serena felt "disrespected" by his choice.

However, the pair worked through their issues and coupled back up just before the elimination.
