Important Information 7-12-24

The House on the Rock experienced a fire on Friday July 12, 2024 in our Upper Circus area. It began in our Orchestra Bandwagon.

The fire was noticed and reported immediately. Operations and Maintenance Team Members responded quickly, assessed the situation, called the local fire department and contained the fire.  Fire crews from Dodgeville, Spring Green and Mineral Point came to ensure everything was contained.

There are three sections at the House on the Rock.  The Circus portion is in section 3.  The incident occurred before Guest traffic was in the area

We must close portions of section 3 due to this situation.  We are able to offer sections 1 and 2, along with the Organ Room, Inspiration Point and Doll Carousels that are part of section 3.  The areas closed at this time are the Dollhouse Room, Circus Room and the Galleries.

We apologize for this inconvenience but for safety reasons we must proceed with caution in the impacted areas.  The area will be assessed by professionals and its re-opening date will be determined by their findings.  Please check our website for updates.
