Police Scotland also had sniffer dogs at the entrances to detect any illegal items people would try to smuggle in.

But officers were forced to make arrests at the festival.

The national force confirmed five people were nicked outside the festival.

Six others were arrested outside the festival entrance.

Police say all 11 arrests were in relation to alleged breach of the peace and alleged minor assault offences.

A force spokesperson said: "No problem, there were six internal arrests and there were five external arrests and they relate to breach of the peace and minor assault offences."
