TRNSMT crowd chaos leaves fans disappointed

TRNSMT fans have been caught up in crowd chaos after a stage was closed off to the public.

Kickstarts superstar Example who took to the main stage in 2022 returned this year to headline the King Tut’s stage tonight.

But reports from radio station Clyde One suggest he was so popular with punters that festival organisers had to close off the area after revellers swarmed to see the noughties star.

The area around the Kings Tut stage was fenced in with metal barriers and a yellow traffic sign displayed "Area full."

Hundreds of fans were claimed to have been turned away from the smaller stage because the area was at capacity.

One fuming fan said: "I think they should be on the main stage."
