He is well known for his love of Scotland - whether it's leaping out of a cop car on set to celebrate a goal, or wild celebrations in the stands at the national stadium.

Last month, he was spotted partying with Tartan Army footsoldiers ahead of the Euro 2024 opening clash in Munich.

He could be seen joining in with chants while being paraded around the city centre on the shoulders of his podcast friend Gordon Smart.

Example yesterday brought on special guest Compston who opened his set holding a Saltire flag.

Addressing the packed out crowd, the Line of Duty star said: "I'm just a wee scally fae Greenock.

"And that man asked me to be here because he's a legend.
