Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley is one of the candidates running against Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. She served as the governor of South Carolina from 2011 until 2017 and as Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 until 2018. Born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa in Bamberg, South Carolina, she was the first female and youngest governor of the state, as well as the second Indian-American governor in the United States. She is known for having advocated for a tough stance on Iran and North Korea, as well as for her strong support for Israel and Ukraine.
