Prince Philip

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was the husband of Queen Elizabeth II and the longest serving royal consort in British history. Born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on the island of Corfu, he had a tumultuous childhood after his family were forced into exile. He served in the navy and renounced his previous royal titles so he could marry Queen Elizabeth in 1947. Together they had four children. The Duke passed away at the age of 99 on April 9, 2021.
