Paul Morgan-Bentley is head of investigations at The Times and specialises in undercover work and in-depth reporting. He is a previous winner of the Cudlipp Award for campaigning journalism at the Press Awards. His undercover work has included: exposing the prepayment meter scandal and how British Gas was breaking into vulnerable customers' homes, exposés of Evri delivery company (formerly Hermes), backlogs at the DVLA, and failings at Action Fraud, the police’s fraud reporting service, which led to an overhaul of the way the UK polices fraudsters. Paul is also the author of The Equal Parent, which explores myths around gendered parenting roles and advocates for men to share caring responsibility for their children.
