Morrisons

Wm Morrison Supermarkets, trading as Morrisons, is one of Britain’s largest supermarket chains. The company started in 1899 as a stall in Bradford selling eggs and butter. It wasn’t until the late 1950s that the company opened its first shop in the city centre. Several decades later it has more than 490 shops nationwide and 110,000 staff. The company was acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in October 2021.
