Ryder Cup

The Ryder Cup is a golf tournament contested by the United States and Europe every two years. Two teams of 12 players compete over three days and 28 matches to score the highest cumulative points. Since its founding in 1927 the Americans have won 27 times and the Europeans 14, including three victories for Great Britain and Ireland when they competed alone.
