NBA finalizes TV deals, but TNT could still match, The Athletic says

The NBA has finalized contracts that will make Comcast’s (CMCSA) NBC and Amazon’s (AMZN) Prime Video new broadcast partners, while Disney’s (DIS) ESPN will remain the home of the NBA Finals, but incumbent TNT Sports and parent company Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) continues to threaten to match, sources told The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand. The agreements will extend for 11 seasons and be worth $76B, executives with direct knowledge of the deals told Marchand.
