Tragedy struck Roy Jones Jr.'s family over the weekend ... as the boxing legend's son, DeAndre, died by suicide, TMZ Sports has learned.

55-year-old Jones Jr. released a statement on the heartbreaking loss on Monday ... saying, "Unfortunately, my son DeAndre took his life on Saturday."

Jones Jr. went on to say he was with DeAndre the night before his passing.

The Giants organization will honor the late great Willie Mays on Monday ... with the entire San Francisco squad rocking the MLB icon's number 24 jersey as they take the field against the Cubs!

"Tonight, all uniformed #SFGiants personnel will wear 24 in honor of Willie Mays 🧡" ... the team announced on social media this afternoon, along with a photo of several jerseys as they hung in players' lockers.

The 36-42 SFG are playing the 37-41 CHC at Oracle Park in the Bay.

Aaron Carter was worth a fair bit of money when he died -- and we're now getting a sense of just how much dough there was in his pot ... a 6-figure amount, at least.

The late singer's estate filed new court docs, obtained by TMZ, laying out a partial inventory and appraisal that puts a dollar amount on what they say Aaron's estate was worth ... based on what they've been able to appraise thus far.

The estate says Aaron's valuables/assets are worth an estimated $757,400 ... as of April 2023.

Tamayo Perry, a surfing legend known for appearing in the 4th 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie, has died ... authorities have confirmed.

The famed surfer passed away Sunday following a shark attack in Oahu, Hawaii ... as Tamayo's body was found by local surfers off Mālaekahana Beach. According to Stab Magazine, TP's arm and leg were missing when they recovered his body.

Honolulu's emergency services say a bystander actually witnessed the attack near Goat Island on Oahu's famed North Shore.

Michael Jackson would be happy to learn his former pet chimp, named Bubbles, is living the good life as an elder primate ... according to the sanctuary that took him in.

Patti Ragan -- director of the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, FL --  tells TMZ ... Bubbles has a lot of freedom at the sanctuary. He's able to explore tunnels, build a nest under a tree, take daily midday naps and occasionally even paint!

Bubbles, now 41, is regularly checked out by a veterinarian and caregiver staff ... and weighs in at 180 pounds. BTW, the lifespan for a chimp in captivity is between 50 and 60 years.

Sarah Becker -- a reality television star who appeared on MTV's "The Real World" -- has died by suicide ... TMZ has learned.

A family member of Becker confirmed the tragic news to TMZ ... telling us she died early last week at her home in Illinois. She'd moved to the area to take care of family last year, but had plans to move back to California.

Unfortunately, we're told she struggled with mental health in recent months ... including taking care of her ailing mother and sister -- and, a skateboarding accident compounded her troubles.

Julio Foolio's fatal shooting left a devastating scene in its wake -- victims taken off in stretchers and cars riddled with bullet holes ... and, TMZ's obtained video capturing it all.

Check out the new clips from just after the shooting took place ... police take command of the scene while paramedics rush around tending to those allegedly wounded in the gunfire.

Check out the series of clips ... one person can clearly be seen in pain as the paramedics roll them away from the Holiday Inn toward an ambulance. Cops say three other people were injured in the shooting that killed Foolio -- and, they're all expected to survive.

Julio Foolio -- an up-and-coming rapper from Florida -- has died in a shooting outside a Tampa-area hotel ... TMZ has confirmed.

His attorney Lewis Fusco released a statement announcing the death Sunday, just hours after his client passed. According to the statement ... Julio -- whose real name was Charles Jones -- was in town to celebrate his birthday.

While he was staying at an AirBnb at first ... Fusco cites law enforcement reports which say he was kicked out of his accommodations for exceeding the maximum occupancy and checked in to a local Holiday Inn.

Ryan Hadley -- a tattoo artist who appeared on season 6 of the hit competition show "Ink Master" -- has died after a battle with cancer ... this according to his own social pages.

Hadley's Instagram account shared the sad news Friday -- saying he'd passed away the night prior while surrounded by loved ones. The caption continued, "While his life was cut short, in that time he left a legacy behind in both the art and tattoo world."

It went on ... "He loved his many fans, his friends and clients, and most of all his children. He’ll be missed and always remembered. A legend forever." A photo of Ryan doing some tattoo work was added to the post, and it showed him beaming.

New video from the horrific scene where a city truck decapitated an elderly man in New York shows the moment the vehicle made contact ... and shockingly, it happened slowly.

Surveillance footage going around online catches the 86-year-old victim slowly making his way across a street in Brooklyn ... and he actually narrowly avoided another car that took a left turn just as he was starting to cross -- before the NYC Dept. of Transportation truck arrived.

The elderly man waits for that car to pass before continuing across the street ... when the big yellow Transportation truck starts to turn right, heading directly into his path and hitting him.

The devastated wife of the man who was fatally electrocuted in a hot tub at a Mexican resort is breaking her silence -- recounting what happened ... and seeking justice at the same time.

Lizzette Zambrano -- who was also seriously injured during the incident at the Sonoran Sea Resort in Puerto Peñasco -- fought through tears as she spoke about her late husband Jorge Guillen to 'GMA' ... saying, "I still can't believe it. A very good man was taken away."

Lizzette, now a widow, painfully reflected on Jorge's final moments ... explaining, "The last thing I remember him saying is Oh s***. And, it's the same time that I felt the first electric shock, and then it happened over and over and over, and I didn't hear him again."

Taylor Wily -- an actor and former sumo wrestler best known for his recurring role on "Hawaii Five-0" -- has died.

According to an anchor for local Hawaii outlet KITV -- who described Taylor as a family friend ... Taylor died Thursday. KITV did not provide a cause of death.

Television producer Peter M. Lenkov confirmed the news on his official Instagram account ... posting a picture with Wily from behind the scenes of a television show and telling his followers he's "heartbroken.".

An elderly man was recently decapitated in Brooklyn -- and now, new video has captured the grisly scene, including the gut-wrenching reaction of a city worker involved in the accident.

A clip of this tragic incident from last week is making the rounds online -- showing the moments after a NYC Department of Transportation truck struck and killed a man who was crossing the street ... with the force of the vehicle severing the victim's head from his body.

This is hard to see, but watch if you're inclined. A bystander recorded what happened moments after this poor guy was hit ... and the head ended up far from where the body lay.

Donald Sutherland -- a legend in Hollywood -- has died ... this according to his talent agency and his family.

The actor -- who was best known for appearing in classics like "The Dirty Dozen," "M*A*S*H," "Animal House," "Hunger Games" and many, many other films -- passed away Thursday in Miami, Florida after a long illness ... something CAA announced.

No cause of death was shared, and the exact details of his passing weren't disclosed either.

An Oakland Juneteenth celebration ended in tragedy when multiple people got shot ... and the whole thing was on video, including footage of folks running and ducking for cover.

The festivities went down at Lake Merritt -- a lagoon centrally located in the city -- and took a turn for the worse Wednesday evening ... after a group of individuals started doing donuts in cars and on motorbikes at a major intersection in town.

Video from the sideshow before bullets started flying looks relatively fun/ innocent -- this type of thing is common in the Bay Area, BTW -- with lots of people laughing and enjoying themselves.

Major League Baseball will go silent Wednesday night -- at least for a few moments -- as all thirty teams will hold a moment of silence following the death of one of the greatest players of all time, Willie Mays.

Mays, arguably the greatest player ever, died Tuesday at the age of 93.
