Death Valley is on the verge of breaking the insane heat record of 130 degrees -- but adventure seekers be warned, one misstep in the park could be your last ... TMZ has learned.

The National Weather Service is warning the famed national park in California's Mojave Desert will become a legit inferno, amid a national heatwave, which means Death Valley could break its own record -- 130 degrees -- for the highest temperature ever reliably recorded ... and that's raising concerns for park officials.

DVNP spokeswoman Abby Wines tells TMZ ... visitors need to be very smart about moving around the park during this time, because -- in some cases -- park rangers won't be able to rescue you from danger.

So, it wasn't just one transatlantic passenger who found himself stuck in the ceiling of a Boeing en route to Uruguay earlier this week – a toddler got stuck up there as well.

Passenger Dr. Cecilia Laguzzi says it's an image she'll never forget ... she found her 2-year-old son lodged in the ceiling above the overhead compartment on Monday's Air Europa flight UX045 from Madrid to Uruguay ... after it hit a wild bout of turbulence.

Laguzzi tells "GMA" she woke up to what felt like 6 or 7 seconds of freefall before the plane leveled off. In the chaotic aftermath, she began searching for her kids, who were sleeping a few seats away with her husband, but her youngest was MIA.

"Love Island Games" champion Jack Fowler is ripping an airline over an allergic reaction he says he suffered on a flight ... accusing the company of not taking food allergies seriously.

Jack just shared what he characterizes as a travel nightmare on social media, claiming he was flying Emirates when he was served a cashew nut ... despite allegedly warning flight attendants multiple times about his severe nut allergy.

The reality star says he had difficulty breathing and needed oxygen and an EpiPen after being served a chicken dish with nuts in it ... suggesting death was a "real possibility."
