SOOO FOR THE BRAIDS i think shouta usually goes for simple pigtails cuz it gets the hair out of hizashi's face while still being a cute style (which makes hizashi happy- his appearance is important to him, even when he's at home. it makes him feel better to look well-kempt), but if shota's had a long day, sometimes he'll intricately braid hizashi's hair for hours to calm his mind down. he's been messing with hizashi's hair for years, so he's gotten pretty good at it ! though he rarely ever actually puts THAT much effort into it, just gets the job done, really.
