The main difference between the ITS talk and the jikook talk lies in the context and history of what we’ve seen from both pairings. With TK, we’ve had years of evidence that they were never truly distant or “awkward” with each other, despite the company’s attempts to suggest otherwise through content. In comparison, jikook have consistently insinuated and told us that they weren’t actually spend time with each other during solo era. So while the ITS conversation directly contradicts the narrative that was being pushed, jikook’s conversation simply reinforces what we already knew. So that comparison just doesn’t hold up because the situations are completely different.

We often talk about Tae breaking JK out of his shell, but the last part is so so so true.. Jungkook kept Tae from going into one.. Tae thrives in loving and being loved.. You can see how much he cares for and loves Jungkook, Jungkook gives him a safe space to love.. the love Tae gives him is returned just as fervently..

Regardless of what they label their relationship, I am 10000% certain of one thing: they are each other's ride or die.. even without the romantic context 🥹

That's not my reading of it.

JK: oiii. Where are you right now?

*Korean subs say "촬영중이야" which deepl, papago and Google all translate as "I'm filming". Note he doesn't say what he's filming.
Tae: where?
JK: In New York. I'm riding a motorcycle tomorrow.
Tae: are you really riding a motorcycle?
JK: yeah we're riding my motorcycle.
Tae: that's cool.

** Korean subs say "야 여프로 찍는 거면은 거기서 오토바이도 타고 다녀 오케이" which translates basically the same but all the translators struggled with 여프로 possibly because Tae is using slang? It is yeo-peulo which, correct me if I'm wrong Korean speakers, is Yeo meaning travel and peulo as in programme so travel show.

So that's the transcript and all the info is there.

JK only says he's filming. He doesn't specify what.

Tae later mentions the "travel show" despite the fact that JK didn't say travel show. I take that to mean he knew what he was filming just not where exactly.

But then also note JK knows Tae is at work - he possibly works that out from Tae's background - but still asks where he is. It's just conversational. And considering JK's background was a black cabin in the dark, Tae asking "where?" is even more like "wait, where are you right now?"

It could be that JK gave Tae a rundown of what he was filming in that edited section. Feels a bit like they'd leave that in but sure maybe? But its besides the point. What happened in the edited out section is a mystery to us both, anon. We both have the same information. I read it one way, you read it another.

Edit: oh also to add, if post prod had to mute whatever Tae said, and JK exclaimed and shifted his screen the way he did, JK may have mentioned they were filming like "don't say anything you shouldn't say."

But that's again just my reading.

Was it work when Jk choose to be with Jimin at 4am on his birthday instead of being who Tae who wanted someone to come sleep by his side and had to ask Jimin? Was it work when Jk choose to spend majority of his time knocking on Jimin’s door instead of going to cuddle Taehyung? Was it work when Jk choose to hang out with Jimin on couple days instead of spending that time with Taehyung? Y’all are so shortsighted, it is concerning.

TAEKOOK IS NOT REAL. It has always been crystal clear that it has never been real and y’all only survived this far by blaming the company, blaming members, focusing actions that the boys do to and for each other that shows love, making up lies and taking things out of context.

Agree. But also "I'm filming" or "I'm filming a/the show" could also just be a way to let him know they are on camera. Especially if something he immediately answered with had to be muted.

They question this because it helps distract them from the fact that Jk Facetimed him at the first mention of him. It's like how the focus on him hanging up and not the giggles and the texts that followed.

good point! personally i do believe that’s why jk said “oi!”

but i feel like we’re also forgetting that it was obviously edited and cut too 😭 that was not their entire call from start to finish

it’s been a hard couple of days for jkkrs. i’ve not seen one accept the truth that came right out of jkk’s own mouths. i’d say i feel sorry for them but with the way they’re throwing a tantrum over tae saying “our show” i’m actually not! i hope they cry more actually!
