That the most commented chapter in my qpr radioapple fic is one where in the notes I asked people what it feels like to kiss others when it's something you're interested in and if they like it (aroace person here with genuine curiosity) …. It's silly but definitely the best thing I've ever done in my life, because it's thanks to that that I was able to know that there were aro/ace people reading me.
Each person who shared their story and experience made my day, because suddenly I didn't feel so alone. And it's a beautiful collection that shows that it's a sexuality with a lot of variability.
Considering how complicated it can be to work with Alastor's sexuality (varied and complex opinions on that and I get it), that there are people who trust me to develop a story that respects Alastor being aroace even though, uh, Lucifer is there in the middle of it, I don't know, it makes me really happy.
