This year's May showers were a torrent of TV show renewals, with a sprinkling of cancellations. Thanks to the Upfronts — the broadcast networks' time to finalize fall schedules — we got a lot of information about which of your favorite shows will be back for future seasons later this year and which won't be back... ever again. CBS, NBCFox, The CW, and ABC have spent this spring releasing their fall schedules and tying up loose ends.

NBC kicked off the month by handing out a Season 3 renewal to Night Court, followed by a renewal of Law & Order: Organized Crime, which will now be a Peacock exclusive. Welcome to streaming, Stabler! ABC ordered new seasons of several of its unscripted series, including The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars, as well as a final season of comedy The Conners. Fox drama The Cleaning Lady also scored a new season. Hallmark called for another season of When Calls the Heart, and Bravo renewed a bunch of shows, including most of its Real Housewives franchise. Meanwhile, Prime Video stayed in league with The Boys, FX announced plans for more seasons of Shōgun, Netflix committed to at least one more season of 3 Body Problem, and Max said yes to more Hacks.

But it was bad news for NBC sitcom Extended Family, ABC sitcom Not Dead Yet, and Fox's animated comedy Housebroken, all of which were tossed in the trash heap. The CW's Walker walked into the sunset after four seasons. Hulu's workplace series The Other Black Girl, Apple TV+'s sci-fi thriller Constellation, Max's journalism drama The Girls on the Bus, and Freevee's comedy Primo were all axed after one season each. And Max's acclaimed sci-fi series Scavengers Reign was also canceled, though there's reportedly a chance the series could be revived at Netflix.

Whether you're looking to celebrate more of your favorites or mourn the loss of something on your regular rotation, we're keeping tabs on all the shows that have been canceled or renewed this month below.
